Scholarships Provided by KCM
Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship
The Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship Program offered by Kathmandu College of Management provides a full tuition waiver for financially disadvantaged Nepali students who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership potential. The scholarship aims to enable access to quality business education for high-achieving students from marginalized backgrounds so that they may contribute to their communities after graduation. Eligibility criteria for the scholarship are:
- Nepali citizen
- 80%+ marks in Grade 10 from government school
- 75%+ marks in Grade 12 from any institution
- Strong leadership qualities and character
- Priority given to low-income families or marginalized communities
KCM Merit Award
The scholarship includes 100% 1 year tuition fee for the capable student who has shown exceptional academic ability in 1st year. Eligibility for the scholarship are:
- Student must have successfully completed the first year at KCM.
- Student must have obtained the highest grade in the first year.
Manisha Memorial Merit Award
The award is provided to 2 students from the 3rd year in the memory of Manisha Shrestha (batch 2005-2009). The scholarship recognizes two exceptional 3rd year students each year – one from the Marketing group and one from the Finance & Banking group based on their 2nd year academic talent. Eligibility criteria:
- Students must have successfully completed second year at KCM.
- Students must have obtained the highest grade in the second year.
Nirajan Memorial Merit Award
The Late Prince Nirajan Bikram Shah Memorial Scholarship, established in honor of KCM alumnus (Batch 1998-2001) Prince Nirajan who passed away, provides full tuition waiver for one year to two exceptional 4th year students – one from the Marketing group and one from the Finance & Banking group – based on their academic achievements in 3rd year. Eligibility for the scholarship criteria are:
- Students must have successfully completed third year at KCM.
- Student must have obtained the highest grade in the third year.
